The Testing Center

The Testing Center provides a low-distraction testing environment for students with approved accommodations. We also assist with make-up exams for students who miss a test due to athletic events, illness, or other personal emergencies.

Location: Kresge 204 (Center for Student Success)
Hours: Monday-Friday from 8:00 am–4:30 pm when classes are in session.
The final testing slot is 3:00 pm.
The Testing Center is closed during chapel

Scheduling an Exam

Submit a Request

Fill out the form within the required timeframe.

Check Your Email

Watch your email for the status of your request and respond promptly as needed.

Arrive On Time

Plan to arrive at your requested time unless otherwise notified. Be prepared to follow the Testing Center rules found below.

December 2: Accommodations Deadline
December 9: Reschedule Deadline
December 14-17: Final Exams

Spring 2027
April 20: Accommodations Deadline
April 27: Reschedule Deadline
April 30 - May 5: Final Exams

If you have an exam on Friday, you must submit a request by the Tuesday prior.
If you have an exam on Monday, you must submit a request by the Wednesday prior.

Bathroom breaks must be taken one at a time, signed out/in with the proctor and are encouraged to not exceed 5–10 minutes. Exam time will remain unchanged
No electronic devices (phones, watches, headphones)
No backpacks
No Hats/hoods on heads
No body writing/hidden materials
No unauthorized assistance given to someone or received of any kind
No water bottles/liquids or food(unless specified in accommodations)

FAQs

Do not submit a new request! Email testingcenter@covenant.edu and they can edit your request after receiving approval from your professor.

We encourage you to submit requests for all known exam dates at one time. If your schedule changes later, you can simply email us and we will update your request. We will not send your request to your professor until the deadline.

Consider meeting with Disability Services or a Student Success Coach. They are available to support you, talk through any challenges you may be experiencing, and help you navigate this process. Email disabilityservices@covenant.edu or scroll down to “Need Help?" to find a time to meet in person.

Your exam time will begin at the scheduled start time and will not be paused or extended due to late arrival, unless your approved accommodations specify otherwise.

Restroom breaks are allowed, though typically limited to one break per exam. Your exam time will continue to run during restroom breaks (as it would in the classroom), and will not be paused or extended unless otherwise specified in your approved accommodations.

Please plan to arrive at the time you requested, even if you have not yet received a confirmation email. If you are unsure whether your request was submitted or would like to check its status, you may visit our office or contact us at testingcenter@covenant.edu.
