Pursuing Knowledge Transformed by Faith

What are you looking for in your college experience? Is the most important factor in your decision the academics and career preparation? Or do you focus more on community beliefs and physical location?

As you navigate the challenging task of choosing a college, we want to make your decision easier—read more below about what makes Covenant unique.

The Covenant Experience
Picture yourself on top of Lookout Mountain standing next to our castle in the clouds and our beautiful chapel building pointing to the sky. Before you is a breathtaking view of the mountains, and surrounding you are people who strive to live in a Christ-centered community. These are people who truly want to know you, support you, challenge you, pray for you, love you, and equip you to pursue a successful life and career with a godly purpose. This is the Covenant experience.

ACADEMIC EXPLORATION

You will be equipped with rigorous liberal arts academics while exploring modern-day issues that will challenge your mind, develop your perspective, and enhance your ability to communicate and create for Christ. Our professors instruct from a faith-based perspective and maintain student-faculty mentorships. With over 90 different areas of study—majors, concentrations, pre-professional pathways, and minors, we provide a variety of academic options.

SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION

We believe that true spiritual growth comes from encountering Jesus in and alongside a community. From chapel to classroom, from dorms to athletic fields, you will discover transformative spiritual enrichment as faculty, staff, and peers grow in faith together, learning to be faithful image-bearers.

CAREER PREPARATION

You will be prepared to pursue meaningful work as we help you understand your calling, apply your talents, build a network, and develop professional skills. Our faculty and staff will not only help you explore your discipline, but will guide you to learn what it means to impact culture and community for Christ.

How might the Covenant experience change each year?

Whether you enter the laboratory, the classroom, the courtroom, whether you rear children or serve as an accountant, you go into your work not as a distraction from your faith but as a vital expression of it.
