Dual Enrollment

Covenant College is pleased to announce a new Dual Enrollment partnership for like-minded Christian high schools through which students can earn Covenant academic credit through approved high school classes. High school students will complete an AP-type/honors course in their own school with their own teacher while also earning 3 hours of credit at Covenant. Here are the key advantages followed by a link to our Dual Enrollment program policies:

1. The approved high school teacher will be issued a contract as an adjunct faculty member of Covenant College and will oversee the curriculum and content so that it is missionally aligned with that high school.
2. Students in that approved class can enroll as a Covenant student to earn 3 hours of college credit for only $150 ($50 per credit hour). Those credit hours are transferable to any other accredited college or university.
3. The credit is awarded after successful completion of the high school course (not based on a one-time AP-type test in May).
4. The approved high school teacher will have regular consultation with the corresponding professors and academic department at Covenant.

Covenant is looking for academic partners for Dual Enrollment courses in art, economics, English, French, history, math, music, political science, psychology, Spanish and other possible content areas. The high school teacher must have a masters degree or higher in that content area to be considered as an adjunct faculty member.
