Alumna Volunteer of the Year: Christy Nickisch-Hummel ’94

Since graduating in 1994, Christy has worked to spread the mission of Covenant College across the nation. She has spoken during Covenant College Sunday for many years and has brought students to visit from where her family has lived. Her enthusiasm for the College has been seen in Alaska, Maryland, Ohio, Texas, and Arkansas.

Christy’s life is aligned with the mission of Covenant. She is married to fellow alumnus Brad Hummel ’95, and they have three children. Their oldest daughter, McKinzie, is a member of the Class of 2019.
