Directory of Teacher Education Graduates
The purpose of the Teacher Education Program at Covenant College is to prepare competent and compassionate teachers who practice their profession according to biblical guidelines in diverse educational settings. Candidates develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to become teachers who model life-long learning and faithful service to God as change-agents in society.
The teacher candidates listed below will graduate on May 4, 2024. Upon graduation, they will be eligible for teacher certification in the state of Georgia, as well as certification through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Prospective employers are welcome to contact individual teacher candidates for information on their availability.
The Covenant College Teacher Education Program is approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Teacher Candidates with a Bachelors in Elementary Education (P-5)
Riley would prefer to teach the first grade. She has experience working at a children’s summer camp. Riley plays soccer, and would enjoy the opportunity to coach it as well.
Anna most enjoys working with preschool through third grade students. From fall 2020 through fall 2022, she worked as an elementary grades tutor with a local social service agency. Anna’s co-curricular interests include theatre, music, and soccer.
Allison (Allie) Jackson
Allie would prefer to teach preschool through first grade. She has experience giving swim lessons, as well as working for three summers at a children’s camp. Allie would enjoy coaching softball or basketball.
Karis enjoys working with all the elementary grades. She has experience assisting with summer school STEM curriculum design and instruction. Karis plays basketball, and would enjoy coaching it or softball.
Lilly would prefer to teach first or second grade. She has three years of experience working at a summer day camp. Her co-curricular interests include after-school tutoring. Lilly hopes to acquire ELL certification in the future.
Taylor would prefer to teach kindergarten or second grade. She has experience teaching kindergarten students during summer internships in 2022 and 2023. Taylor is open to coaching softball.
Campbell would prefer to teach preschool or kindergarten. Campbell’s co-curricular interests include tutoring or leading a co-curricular club.
Holly most enjoys teaching the first grade. She is open to supervising any co-curricular activity at her school.
Teacher Candidates with a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree
Josiah graduated from Covenant College with a B.A. in Biology. He teaches high school biology at a local private school.
Victoria (Tori) Caldwell
Tori graduated from Covenant College a B.A. in Education Studies (with concentrations in Mathematics and English Language Arts). She teaches 7th grade math at a public school in Georgia. Tori played basketball in college, and would enjoy coaching if the opportunity arose.
Briana (Kaelin) Dupree
Computer Science, 6-12
Kaelin graduated cum laude from Covenant College with a B.A. in Computer Science. She is teaching computer science at a local middle school. Kaelin’s co-curricular interests include colorguard, pickleball, and yearbook.
Social Studies, 4-8
John graduated from Covenant College with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies (Education, Business, and Sociology).
Emma graduated from Covenant College with a B.A. in both English and History. She teaches 8th grade reading at a local middle school, and would enjoy continuing to work with middle grades students. Emma’s co-curricular interests include orchestra, cheerleading, and knitting.
Charles graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.B.A. in Management. He teaches mathematics at a public middle school in southern Georgia.
Blake graduated from Liberty University with a B.B.A. in Marketing. He hopes to teach mathematics to students in the upper elementary grades, and would enjoy coaching soccer as well.
Mattie (Parker) Livingston
Mattie graduated from Covenant College with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies (Education, Biology, and Psychology). She would enjoy teaching Biology, Life Science, Anatomy, or Ecology. Mattie is also open to coaching cross country and track.
Aaron graduated from Covenant College with a B.A. in Education Studies (with concentrations in Math and Social Studies) and a minor in Sport Management. He currently teaches math at a local charter school.
Justin graduated from Dalton State College with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in History. He currently teaches AP U.S. and world history at a local charter school. When not teaching, Justin also enjoys coaching.
Kara graduated summa cum laude from Covenant College with a B.A. in History and minors in Education and Writing. She would most enjoy teaching high school history, and is open to leading a Theater/Drama club.
