Directory of Teacher Education Graduates

The purpose of the Teacher Education Program at Covenant College is to prepare competent and compassionate teachers who practice their profession according to biblical guidelines in diverse educational settings. Candidates develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to become teachers who model life-long learning and faithful service to God as change-agents in society.

Procedures

The following teacher candidates are completing our teacher education program, either as undergraduate or graduate students. Contact information for each candidate is provided so that you may contact them directly regarding teaching opportunities.

The Covenant College Teacher Education Program is approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). An electronic credential file is created in the spring for each candidate and is available to you upon request. Sydney Fisher

Early Childhood Education, P-5

Sydney also has a minor in Linguistics. She prefers to locate in the Chattanooga, TN/northwest GA area. She most enjoys teaching 2-5 language arts. Her extracurricular interests include newspaper or coaching basketball. Sydney is available for employment May 2022.

Craig graduated from the University of Tennessee summa cum laude in 2021 with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Entrepreneurship. He is willing to teach anywhere in the U.S., except the northeast. He prefers to teach high school math or engineering. Craig’s extracurricular interests include coaching football. Grace graduated from Covenant College in 2021 with a B.A. in both Biology and Community Development. She is willing to teach anywhere in the U.S., but prefers the western U.S. She prefers to teach middle grades science or high school biology and environmental studies. Grace’s extracurricular interests include coaching soccer or cross country, hiking, gardening, or environmental stewardship. She is available for employment June 2022.
