Barnes Physical Education Center

Barnes Physical Education Center houses a gymnasium used for varsity and JV basketball and volleyball, as well as the athletics department and several workout rooms.

The top two floors are comprised of coaching and physical education department offices, classrooms, and an indoor corridor linking Barnes with Ashe Activity Center.

The gymnasium is on the main level and seats 650.

The lower level of the building contains an aerobics room and a weight room.

Barnes is named in honor of Covenant's second president, Dr. Marion D. Barnes.

 

Hours of Operation

School Year

Monday - Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.

Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Sundays: Closed

Breaks

Hours will be posted on the doors to Ashe and Barnes several days in advance.

Summer

Monday - Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Saturdays & Sundays: Closed
