Celebrate Christmas at Covenant College

Come experience the joy of Christmas at Covenant College’s annual celebration concert on Thursday, December 7th or Friday, December 8th. Free tickets are available through our box office for the concerts in the chapel because seating is limited.  VIP tickets - which include priority seating in both the Chapel Auditorium and Great Hall Madrigal Dessert Reception-   are also available for $15 per person.  You will need a ticket at the door for both venues.  Reserved parking is available in the North lot for $10 and a limited number of accessible spaces are available free of charge, on a first come, first served basis. Additional parking, with shuttles to and from the concerts, is located in the Sanderson, Ashe, Commuter, and Kirk lots.

Celebrate Christmas at Covenant is the result of collaboration throughout the entire music department and represents the work of students and faculty alike. Professors Scott Finch ’96, Lok Kim, Christine Hassevoort, Stephen Humphries, and Jim Ward ‘72 will direct ensembles during the performance.

The concert will center on the theme, “With Grateful Hearts,” which calls attention to the fact that our appropriate response to Christ's incarnation is ardent thanksgiving. We have cause to rejoice, not because of our circumstances, but because of the God who uses all for His glory and our good.

Doors for the concerts will open at 6:15 p.m for VIP seating and 6:30 p.m. for general seating. The concerts begin at 7:00 p.m.  Please plan on joining us in the Great Hall afterwards for our Madrigal Dessert Reception where our Wind Ensemble and Chamber Singers will be featured at no extra cost to you.
