Applications are Open! Now what?

Our Application is open! What are the next steps?

Our Application

Covenant’s application opens July 1st for the class of 2027. The July 1st application is Covenant specific. It is recommended that you apply as soon as possible.

The early action and competitive scholarships deadline is November 10th. To be considered for competitive scholarships, applications must be completed by this date. The regular decision deadline is March 1st, with rolling admission available after that date. Beginning in mid-August, our admissions team reviews completed admissions files regularly and will notify you on the your admissions status within a few weeks of completion. 

The Common App opens August 1st and it allows you to apply to multiple schools at the same time.

To apply you will need:

  • High school transcript 
  • Dual enrollment transcripts (if applicable) 
  • Test optional but preferred. We accept the ACT, SAT and the CLT. You can submit superscores.
  • Your testimony as a writing sample: Your testimony should include an answer to the question of “Who is Jesus?” and what He means for your life.
  • Christian Faith Reference that can attest to your faith
  • Academic Reference 

To submit to Covenant, the code for the ACT is 3951 and the code for the SAT is 6124.  Applications will not be reviewed until all of the required material is submitted.

Scholarships and Aid

Covenant offers competitive and early action scholarships. The applications for those are due November 10th. Submitting an application prior to November 10th gives you more time to go work through the scholarship applications. 

Financial Aid for students will be evaluated on a student by student basis. Remember, 99% of Covenant’s students receive financial aid. Federal aid is processed through FAFSA applications, which open in October of a student's senior year. It is recommended that you fill out FAFSA as soon as possible. When completing FAFSA you will need to input Covenant's school code 003484.
