History & Politics
On Faculty Since 1994
The history program offers a wide range of courses in American, European, and Non-Western history, along with courses focused on research, methodology, and historiography. History is a synoptic discipline that provides a way at looking at all of creation and human culture making across time as God unfolds his grand redemptive history. I would encourage students to study history at Covenant, not only because we have excellent professors from whom you will learn much history and who will help you improve your critical reading, writing and research skills, but also because they care about their students and will mentor them as junior colleagues in the discipline and as brothers and sisters in Christ.
