The Covenant College chapel department exists to nurture students in their love of Jesus Christ and His gospel. We disciple, mentor, and counsel students, but it is the weekly chapel services that touch our community with the greatest frequency.

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11:00 a.m. students, faculty, and staff gather together for a time of corporate worship. We sing, pray, confess our faith, and encounter Jesus in the reading and exegetical, expository preaching of His word.

These chapel services—where the word of God is made central—nurture, strengthen, and unify our community as we worship Jesus Christ together. Chapel worship is one of the great privileges of the Covenant College experience and is integral to our mission to encourage students in their understanding, submission to, and delight in the preeminence of Jesus Christ in all things.

In addition to our regular weekly chapel worship services, we have several conferences and academic lectures throughout the year. These conference and lectures are unique occasions for our faculty and a diverse group of invited speakers to engage the hearts and minds of our community, helping to formulate Christian character, perspective, and worldview.

Three stained glass windows highlight the main auditorium of the Dora Maclellan Brown Memorial Chapel. These windows graphically depict the constancy of God’s love for His people.
