Student Service Opportunities
Project 52
P52 is a ministry that seeks to serve individuals or families who are socio-economically challenged due to financial crisis, natural disaster, physical disability, and emotional distress including widows, the elderly, and those living below the Poverty line. They do this by organizing at least one work project every week. You can ask about joining in with these projects yourself, with a few friends, or it’s a great opportunity for teams or halls to serve together.

Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center
Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center is a 317-acre outdoor recreation venue. Our goal is to connect YOU with nature. As part of our mission, we work with over 16,000 students per year to help them understand the connection between the choices they make and their local ecology. We also offer year-round public programs for lifelong learners who want to learn more about native plants, wildlife photography, fire-building and knot-tying, and more. Reflection Riding is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, and we highly value our volunteer base.
There are many ways to be involved on the property, and currently, we are looking for volunteers to help us with our invasive plant problem! Come help out while enjoying this beautiful area!

GLAD/New City Fellowship
GLAD is New City Fellowship Glenwood's after school tutoring program. If you're looking for a way to serve with kids in our community, become a tutor at GLAD Monday through Thursday from 3:15 - 5:15 during the school year. Help feed kids a meal, work with them on their homework, and spend time playing with and loving them. If you can commit for a semester, that's really great, but they are eager for volunteers who can even come just one or two days a week. GLAD also has summer programs you can ask about.
