If you visited Covenant College, what first stood out to you about the community?
The willingness of everyone to make me feel at home and comfortable and the upbeat atmosphere that came with it.

Why did you choose Covenant College?
I got recruited for softball and once I visited I was hooked on the location, the beauty of the campus in its entirety, and the welcoming people.

What aspect of Covenant College do you like best?
Definitely the fact that Covenant strives to see me succeed in all aspects of my life and not just in my time here at Covenant.

What has been your favorite Covenant College event and why?
I had so much fun at Kilter. It was fun to dress up and go out with friends to dance and have a good time.

How does residence life add to/support your academic goals at Covenant College?
I think having quiet hours but still being able to enjoy community with my sisters in Christ by having them on my hall and enjoying hall events to take a break from academics is helpful. Having a commons to go and study in as well as the open hall hours allows me to focus on my academics more.

Which professors have most impacted the way you think and why?
Prof. Scott Jones just because he is an amazing professor and is very passionate about what he does. He always speaks his mind and remains confident in whatever he says.

What do you most enjoy about your major?
I absolutely love learning about the depths of biology especially anatomy and being able to dissect things.

How is Covenant equipping you for post-graduation life in your area of study?
Covenant is currently preparing me to enter an accelerated Nursing program. The rigorous courses are allowing me to become equipped to make sure nursing school is a breeze for me.

Can you give an example of how the core classes affected your other classes?
I think bringing my faith into my academics has really given me another look on college and school in general just because I’ve always been brought up to see that school is school and you don’t bring up or talk about how God gave us science to explore and discover.

How is Covenant equipping you for active membership in the church?
By allowing me to find what church I want to choose and be a part of and also encouraging me to find a church

How have your relationships at Covenant shaped your expectations for the other communities God will call you to in life?
I think that being surrounded by Christians like myself has been good for my discipleship so when I go out into the “real world” I am better prepared to face people that don’t know Christ.

What’s your favorite way to spend your free-time on or off campus?
I enjoy going down the mountain with friends to get dinner, going downtown to window shop and go to the walking bridge, and making spontaneous trips like going to get a piercing in the middle of the week.
