COVID-19 Mid-week Update - October 28 - Numbers increasing, please limit travel
In the past few days we have added three positives with at least one more possible. In addition, we have added 11 more to quarantine and there are two pending results. With this recent uptick in cases and quarantine (students and staff), I thought it prudent to provide the latest data today and a reminder to be particularly careful these last weeks of the semester. These cases and quarantines are most often related to exposure from traveling off campus.
The College strongly recommends that you limit any off campus travel. Case counts are on the rise in our surrounding counties and across the country. If you must travel off campus, you should closely observe the Covenant Commitment and take great care to wear a mask, maintain distance, and practice good hand hygiene. There are only 14 days of class remaining after today and then finals. Let's buckle down and finish well knowing that an extended break awaits.
