What brought you to work at Covenant?

My husband and I relocated to Chattanooga for his work, and I happened upon the available position in the Covenant Admissions Department. I was familiar with Covenant because I had been recruited during high school to play for their women’s soccer team; however, I had never actually been on campus. After visiting Covenant’s campus and meeting the Admissions Staff, I was amazed by the Christ-centered community (it’s truly so special), unique educational mission, and gorgeous campus. After that, I was sold!

Favorite spot on campus?

My little cubicle in the Admissions Building. I love being a part of the Admissions Team.

Favorite Cereal?
Oatmeal Squares (lame, I know, but it’s the truth)

"God is not exalted by lessening your loves. The Christian path is not loving less, it's loving more and rightly...Our goal is not to love less but more."

Ever wonder what it's like to study on top of a mountain? Wonder no more!

Dr. Kelly Kapic with students

Dr. Kelly Kapic discusses the difficulties Christian students face at secular colleges, and outlines the benefits of studying among thoughtful believers at Covenant.

“As someone who wants to go into foreign services, Covenant has not only given me a considerable amount of connections through professors and the college’s resources, but has also taught me how to apply a Christian worldview to my fields of study which are, more often than not, part of a secular lifestyle.”
