A Community Resource.
There’s nothing like a good neighbor. For several decades, we at Covenant have enjoyed a special relationship with the local community. We have come to depend on one another and provide a helping hand in a way that truly reflects the work of Christ.

 

Over time, those relationships have grown and our friends and neighbors can now be found around the world; however, we at Covenant will always be focused on being there for the local community.

Our Facilities
From Ashe Activity Center to Kresge Library to the local trail network, members of the Lookout Mountain and greater Chattanooga community benefit from our physical resources.

 

Our Service
You will find Covenant students engaging in mission work, working with local schools, serving as mentors to children, hosting dinners and brunches for members of the local community, fellowshipping with local widows, and traveling the country to lend a helping hand to disadvantaged segments of society.

 

Our Activities
Community members often come to campus to take advantage of concerts, athletic events, chapel and conference speakers, and a host of other activities such as discussion forums and student talent shows.

 

Our Graduates
Whether it’s teaching in local schools, leading entrepreneurial business ventures in town, working at local medical facilities, or opening popular restaurants and hotspots (such as Greyfriar’s Coffee and Clumpies Ice Cream), many of our graduates have a very direct impact on the local community and economy.
