Activities
I am very passionate about evangelism and serving the Church. I desire to see Christ’s name glorified in this nation. I also love sports and other outdoor activities such as camping and hiking. And when I am not doing those activities you can find me hanging out with friends and family.

Favorite place on campus
By the big windows in the Great Hall that offer a panoramic view of the scenery below.

Honors received at Covenant
Dean’s List

Why did you choose Covenant?
I wanted to go to a Christian college that was faithful to the Scriptures. Also, the beautiful campus was a major plus. If you are here for any time at all you will see that the people here are extremely loving and caring.

How is Covenant unique?
Covenant’s faculty and staff are top quality. They are extremely gifted and are masters in their field. But what makes them so distinguishable is their love and care for students. You do not only gain knowledge in your field of study, but you grow as an individual and as a faithful steward of the gifts God has given you.

What has been your favorite experience at Covenant?
Living and hanging out with so many young adults who love Jesus.

What is your favorite class so far?
Theory of Community Development

What made that class your favorite?
Dr. Fikkert and Prof. Corbett. They are experts in community development and economics and have years of experience working all around the globe. They are hilarious and the material that you learn in their class is fascinating. In my opinion, everyone at Covenant should take this course as it provides a fuller understanding of the role of the church in society.

What are some things you enjoy about your major(s)?
I am learning about God and who He is, what He is like, what He cares about, and the history of His interaction with mankind. What could be better than this?

What person at Covenant has had the greatest impact on you, and why?
My current resident director Kevin McAlvey. I have known him for a short time and in that time he has loved me unconditionally and challenged me to grow in my faith. It has been such a blessing to have someone older and wiser that cares so much for me.

What’s your favorite part of the day at Covenant?
Evening time when students are studying, relaxing, and hanging out with one another.

What are your post-graduation plans?
Possibly going to Ecuador where my father is from and finding out what ways I can serve the local church and community there. I have an entrepreneurial spirit, so I would love to exercise that in some way.

How is Covenant equipping you for the future?
In coming to Covenant I expected to learn about the Bible and its historical context. I did not realize I would gain so much more than just pure knowledge. Within my first three semesters at Covenant I have grown to love God more and see more clearly His supremacy in all things. This has helped me to prepare for the future as I understand better that my life is not my own. Along with a stronger biblical framework of thinking I have grown to be more responsible, reliable, and have learned how to make it through difficult times relying on God and others. I know God has brought me here as I cannot think of a more perfect place that would prepare me for my future.
