Why did you choose Covenant?
My father is an alumnus, I received the Georgia Hope scholarship, and being in the local music scene, I knew Covenant had a community that appreciated and fostered great art. In other words, it just made sense.

What has been your favorite experience at Covenant?
Being a Catacombs homeboy. Performing in Mountain Affair was pretty fun as well.

What is your favorite class so far?
This semester I am taking an independent study with Dr. Kreuze in concepts and composition of electronic music.

What made that class your favorite?
I’ve definitely learned a lot so far, and had tons of fun doing it, plus I am creating things that I can include in my resume for jobs, and grad school if I decide to go that direction.

What are some things you enjoy about your major(s)?
Music is (almost) the only extra-curricular activity I have I have been involved in since I was 13, so getting to explore that on the academic level is always fun.

What person at Covenant has had the greatest impact on you, and why?
Calvin Cummings. He’s a good friend, someone I look up to and have gotten to learn a lot from about practically living my faith. And he’s not afraid to let you know when you’re sinning. Haha

What’s your favorite part of the day at Covenant?
Enjoying fellowship and laughter with my friends in the Great Hall at meal times.

What are your post-graduation plans?
Not sure quite yet, defiantly working on music a lot though.

How is Covenant equipping you for the future?
Giving me a good foundation in critical thinking, and engaging in culture in thoughtful ways.
