Chamber Orchestra Concert November 18

covenant chamber orchestraCovenant’s chamber orchestra will be in concert on Friday, November 18, 2011, conducted by Lok Kim, a visiting music instructor. The orchestra will perform Beethoven’s “Overture to Coriolanus,” Faure’s “Pelleas and Melisande Suite,” and “Haffner,” Mozart’s 35th symphony.

“It is very important that a concert be well-balanced, like a good meal,” says Kim, who won first and second prize in opera production at last year’s convention of the National Opera Association. “All three pieces have different styles and were composed in different eras. I believe it is going to be a very delicious meal.”

The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. in the Dora Maclellan Brown Memorial Chapel, and is free and open to the public.
