Senior Art Exhibit

An exhibit showing works by senior art majors will be open November 28 through December 13, 2012, in the Covenant College art gallery on the second floor of Kresge Memorial Library. Kathryn Allison ’13, Cornelius Hegeman ’13, Sheri Koenig ’13, Kara Lea ’13, Bryony Macintyre ’13, Jenna Mitchell ’13, M.K. Perkins ’13, Lien Phuong ’13, Ryu Pierro ’13, and Corey Snipes ’13 will all have work on display.

Jeff Morton, professor of art, describes this exhibit as a preview of the work that will be displayed at the senior integration projects (SIP) exhibit, which opens April 10, 2013. “This is perhaps a bit more of a traditional show than the SIP exhibit,” says Prof. Morton, “in the sense that these are the things the students learned how to do throughout their years at Covenant. And while I don’t want to make it overly simplistic, their SIP is sort of how they think in what they do.”

A reception will be held at 7:00 p.m. on November 28, and the exhibit will be on display through December 13. Admission is free and open to the public.
