The Dismembered Tennesseans in Concert

dismembered tennesseansOn Friday, April 20, Covenant College's 2011-2012 Covenant Arts concert series concludes with Fletcher Bright and The Dismembered Tennesseans in concert.

The Dismembered Tennesseans have appeared on stage with many of the top bluegrass stars. They are among the most enduring and popular bands based in Chattanooga and have performed in concert with the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra, the Chattanooga Boys Choir, and more recently the Chattanooga Ballet.

“The original founder of the band, Fletcher Bright, has played his fiddle with The Dismembered Tennesseans for decades,” says Jeanell Brown, associate professor of music. “The long history of this renowned group of American players began decades ago as a few high school students at McCallie School.  This evening will be one of pure entertainment – American style.”

The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel. For tickets and dinner reservations, click here or call 706.419.1453.
