Model United Nations Club Wins Award

The Covenant College Model United Nations Club won a delegation award for Outstanding Position Paper at the Southern Regional Model UN 2017 Summit in Charlotte, North Carolina, held March 30 - April 1. The theme of the conference was “Assessing the Challenges and Opportunities of Globalism in the 21st Century”. The Covenant team, under the leadership of club president and head delegate Kellan Robinson, represented the country of Liberia. International Studies & French double major and senior Megan Gienapp scored a rare 100 percent on a position paper co-authored with Robinson. This is only the second event for the Covenant team, which participated alongside more than 70 other colleges and universities represented in Charlotte.
