Dr. James Skillen to Speak at Kuyper Conference

Dr. James Skillen will present the lectures at the 2017 Kuyper Conference, beginning March 29, 2017.

 

Skillen earned his BA from Wheaton College, his MA in political science from Duke University, and his PhD in political science from Duke University. He served as the president of the Center for Public Justice in Washington, DC, from 1981 to 2009. Prior to his service at the Center for Public Justice, Skillen taught political science at Messiah College, Gordon College, and Dordt College. He is the author of several books, including The Good of Politics: A Biblical, Historical, and Contemporary Introduction.

 

Skillen’s lectures will include themes of God’s Kingdom and politics, institutions, and a Kuyperian challenge. The lectures will be held on Covenant’s campus and are free and open to the public.
