Rev. James White to Deliver Imago Dei Lectures

Covenant College is pleased to welcome Rev. James White as the lecturer for the 2017 Imago Dei Conference. The conference is designed to provide a space for thoughtful dialogue and interaction with biblical personhood and often includes topics like identity, community, marriage, family, and what it means to be created in God’s image. Rev. White will deliver three lectures that are free and open to the public, beginning February 27, 2017.

 

White is the senior pastor of Christ Our King Community Church in North Carolina. In addition to his work as pastor, he is the Senior Vice President of Leadership Development for the YMCA of the Triangle Area. He is a member of the National Training and Leadership Development Advisory Board for the YMCA of the USA. Rev. White is a contributing author for several different publications including, American Outlook, Planting Seeds of Hope, How to Reach African Youth, and the African American Devotional Bible.
