Born in Liberia, David Yleah ’99 returned to his home country to bring his knowledge of public health and his heart for the people of Liberia to the front lines of the Ebola crisis.

Lillian describes the challenges and excitement of applying research techniques she learned in the classroom to the real-world circumstances she encountered during her internship with a non-profit organization working to increase literacy rates in Peru.

Dr. Kevin Eames, professor of psychology, recently authored Cognitive Psychology of Religion, a book that explores questions about the origins of belief in God, the “cognitive architecture” that leads people to believe in the supernatural, neuroscience, and childhood development.
