Alumni Benefits

A Small Thank You from Covenant

Our alumni are extremely important to us for not only having contributed to Covenant in the past, but for continuing to uphold our mission in your communities and careers and with prayers and giving.

We are grateful for your unwavering support to Covenant and want to thank you by offering our alumni the following benefits.

Covenant Alumni Promise

We want to support our alumni families whose children pursue a Covenant education in hopes that they can receive the same Scot experience you did. Through the Covenant Alumni Promise, after all aid is applied, your son or daughter is promised grants and aid that sum to at least 40% of tuition at Covenant.

This is not a stackable line item on a financial aid offer, but this is meant as a promise that we will ensure your son or daughter’s financial aid offer will cover at least 40% of tuition if they are accepted.

Please reach out to the Office of Financial Aid to learn more about this benefit.

Taking Covenant Courses

For Credit
The Covenant Fellows Program was established to encourage a spirit of continued education. This program allows alumni to enroll in traditional and non-traditional undergraduate courses if seats are available following registration. The cost is $33 per credit hour. Fellows are limited to two courses per semester and a maximum of 12 hours per year. For more information, please see the description in the Covenant College catalog or contact the Office of Records.

Auditing Courses
Alumni may audit courses with permission from the professor. There is no tuition cost nor official registration process. If you have further questions, please contact the Office of Records.

Gym Membership

Alums receive a discount on our annual gym memberships for the Ashe Activity Center. The alumni price is $60 per year, which includes a campus parking pass. See webpage for more information.

Library Access

Living close to campus also means you have access to the Kresge Memorial Library. Feel free to check out items to take home with you or come use the quiet spaces in the library to work or study.

Athletic Events

All regular-season games are free and open to alums and their families. Come cheer on the Scots at home games on the mountain. See athletic calendar for event schedule.

Campus Events

From the Bakertree Festival to Homecoming, many campus events are fun for the whole family. Homecoming 2023 will be September 29-30 this year, and we’d love to have you back on the mountain for these festivities! There are also concerts, art exhibits, plays, and musicals throughout the year!

Emerald Club Benefit

Covenant College has entered into a partnership with Enterprise Rent-a-Car to provide Covenant College alumni with free memberships in the Emerald Club (a value of $50) and discounts on all car and truck rentals through Enterprise and National Car Rental.
