Advancement Services Coordinator
Major at Covenant:
Early Childhood Education
My relationship with God has grown deeper since I have been at Covenant. Chapel time has both inspired and challenged me in my Christian walk. Also, having close friends who share my values has helped strengthen my relationship with God.
My co-curricular activities during college:
I was involved in the SAA (Student Alumni Association). In addition, I helped with orientation by serving on the Orientation Team and Core Team.
Why I chose Covenant:
I had always wanted to attend a Christian liberal arts college. After meeting different alumni from Covenant and seeing how Covenant had shaped their lives, I wanted to have the same life experience at college. My decision to attend Covenant became final after visiting campus and observing the close-knit community of Christians and knowing that Covenant stood for conservative Christian beliefs.
Favorite Covenant College event:
While a student there were many different events that I enjoyed at Covenant, but I would have to say that convocation would have to be my favorite. The experience of being in the chapel with fellow students, faculty, and staff captured the essence of Covenant’s close-knit community. Standing in the chapel singing All for Jesus with the student body, faculty and staff, and hearing the drums with bagpipes reinforced my appreciation for the uniqueness of Covenant’s spirit.
