Undergraduate Admissions Timeline

We are glad that you are considering applying to Covenant College. Below is a schedule of important dates to keep in mind for your application process. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your admissions counselor. Also, if you have not yet started your application to Covenant, we encourage you to do so today.

 

 

June 1, 2016 Applications open for fall 2017
September 1
Competitive scholarship applications are available to applicants on our website (must meet qualifications to be considered)
October 1
FAFSA opens for fall 2017 applicants (for more information, see the different types of aid we offer to prospective students) 
October 6-8
Campus Preview Weekend
November 15

Early action deadline & competitive scholarship applications due

To be considered for any of our competitive scholarships, you must meet the specified qualifications and complete your application for admission through the early action process. 
December 15
All admissions decisions for early action applicants are released. Admitted students will receive a financial aid package.
January 20, 2017
Competitive scholarship finalists announced

Regular decision admissions deadline
February 10-11
Scholarship weekend for Maclellan & Wilberforce scholarships 
February 24-25
Presidential Scholars Weekend

Admissions decisions for regular decision applicants are released

Financial aid packages are sent for regular decision applicants

Enrollment deposit ($300) for fall 2017 applicants due

Reminder:
Be sure to have your final high school transcript (or updated college transcript) sent to the Office of Admissions as soon as it becomes available.
Early June

We will begin making housing assignments for new students who have submitted their housing forms and paid their enrollment deposits.
