Professional Interests

Early American literature—particularly Hawthorne and other New England writers, film—comparison and adaptation of written and visual narrative, Alfred Hitchcock and Andrei Tarkovsky.

Dr. Stephens discusses the importance of language in Scripture and describes the excitement of studying linguistics as a believer.
