Directory of Teacher Education Graduates 2017

The purpose of the Teacher Education Program at Covenant College is to prepare competent and compassionate teachers who practice their profession according to biblical guidelines in diverse educational settings. Candidates develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to become teachers who model life-long learning and faithful service to God as change-agents in society.

 

Procedures

The following teacher candidates are completing our teacher education program, either as undergraduate or graduate students. Contact information for each candidate is provided so that you may contact them directly regarding teaching opportunities.

 

The Covenant College Teacher Education Program is approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). An electronic credential file is created in the spring for each candidate and is available to you upon request. Career Summit 2017

Career Summit takes place on Thursday and Friday, March 2-3, 2017. We are offering a new and restructured schedule this year where you will have opportunity to present your school to our teacher candidates as well as to individually interview candidates. Please consider attending this event!

Drew S. Nelson

Undergraduate Degree: French

Drew graduated from Covenant College with a B.A. in French in May 2016. 

He would like to teach somewhere in the Eastern U.S.

Drew prefers to teach in the high school French.

His extracurricular interests include language club, global club and video game club.

Ethan Hard

Certification Field: History, 6-12
Undergraduate Degree: History

Ethan graduated from Covenant College with a M.A.T. in Secondary Social Studies in May 2016, and a B.A. in History in May 2015. 

He would like to teach somewhere in Maryland or Southern Pennsylvania.

Ethan enjoys teaching middle school or high school history. He also has experience teaching ESL U.S. History.

His extracurricular interests include coaching soccer, history club, or the school newspaper.
