Directory of Teacher Education Graduates 2015

The purpose of the Teacher Education Program at Covenant College is to prepare competent and compassionate teachers who practice their profession according to biblical guidelines in diverse educational settings. Candidates develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to become teachers who model life-long learning and faithful service to God as change-agents in society.

 

Procedures

The following teacher candidates have completed our teacher education program, either as an undergraduate or graduate student. Contact information for each candidate is provided so that you may contact them directly regarding teaching opportunities.

 

The Covenant College Teacher Education Program is approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Career Summit 2016

Career Summit takes place on Thursday and Friday, March 3-4, 2016. This event is designed to allow administrators to meet and participate in group interviews with our pre-service teachers.

Rachel M. Holland

Major: Elementary Education Early Childhood

Rachel prefers to locate in Chattanooga, TN but is willing to locate elsewhere in the Southern U.S. or anywhere, including internationally.

She has a particular interest in Special Education but is willing to teach any grade.

Her extracurricular interests include coaching basketball and swimming.

Morgan would prefer to teach in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools in MD, but is also open to teaching in the Chattanooga, TN/northwest GA area.

She prefers grades K, 3, and 5. Her extracurricular interests include coaching softball.

Teacher Candidates with a Bachelor of Science Degree

This program is designed to enable paraprofessionals to earn a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. For the most part, these graduates reside in the Chattanooga/north Georgia area and plan to remain in this area. However, there are exceptions so please see specific location preferences listed for each graduate.
